More Train Fun!

Dylan has definitely inherited his great-uncle Ron's genes when it comes to trains (which is amazing because Ron married into the family!) Aunt Arva and Uncle Ron are Dylan's train buddies. They are always finding fun train things for Dylan. The latest thing that came in the mail was train activity books, a train calendar and train cookie cutters.
Here is Dylan with the cookie cutters:

It's hard to see them, but there is an engine, caboose and railroad crossing sign.
Anyway, Dylan has been bugging me all week to make train cookies--we finally got to it today.
Here are some fun pics:

Dylan posing with the made cookies (Our railroad crossing sign can also double as a palm tree!)

Dylan frosting a cookie! Oh wait, I mean eating frosting!
He was so excited to get his very own frosting bowls! We even had a discussion about DNA during this time--his DNA is all over the cookies that he frosted!

WOW! What an awesome...engine? Yep, there is an engine cookie under all that frosting.
Here is a picture of the rest of Dylan's cookies:

I think he got bored after making the first cookie and hurried through the others OR he was running out of frosting because he ate so much! Hmmm...I am not sure!
(By the way, his made the chefs hat that is in the first picture. The kids had Stone Soup week at school and made chefs hats and decorated aprons. There are more pictures in my slide show.)

Uncle Ron wasn't sure that the colors on the engine are accurate for any engine he knows. Oh well Dylan can frost them any color he wants. We are glad Dylan and Jeron like trains.
