Dylan had a fun birthday. Before he went to bed he told me that it was the best birthday party ever! I am not sure why he liked it so much--all we did was make calzones, have cake and ice cream and open presents. Here are some fun pics from his "party":
I think it looks like a gross blue volcano with green lava!
He loves it so I guess that's all that matters!

Anything to do with trains is alright in his book!
(Dylan told Grandma Heywood that he wanted Legos. He got some money in the mail and Grandma told him to go pick out the Lego set that he wanted--this is what he picked. We got to the store and he could not resist the trains!
CONVERSATION BETWEEN DYLAN AND AUNT DAWN:
Dawn: How old are you today?
Dylan: 5
Dawn: Wow! You are getting so old!
Dylan: It's not nice to tell people they are getting old!
What a funny kid!

Looks like you had a great birthday party. Your cake looks soooo good. We hope you blew out all your candles in one breath. Your feather is really special. You are terrific. Love you. Ron and Arva
Okay, so I want to know if we can submit your cake to cake wrecks? I know they don't take amateur cakes, but she might make an exception. I am just kidding. It looked cute and I know Dylan loved it. At least Dylan didn't tell me that I was causing confusion and delay. I am glad you had such a wonderful birthday Dylan!
