We Love Saturdays!!

Today was a pretty good day for our family. We were productive and had a bit of fun.
Our Florida Room (basically it is a screened in porch) has been a mess since we moved in--we decided to tackle it today.

BEFORE

AFTER
(Yes, there are still some boxes, but at least the stuff is in boxes and tucked away in the corner!)

It is now a train room.
Dylan's trains are constantly out and usually taking up the entire toy room--making it impossible to play with any of the other toys. We moved his trains to the blue room (that's what I call it) and he is loving it. There is only one problem that may come up: creepy, crawly Florida creatures. We sprayed for all kinds of bugs, but we will have to keep an eye on the toys. We may have to move them back into the house if it becomes a problem.

Now for the FUN!!
We had a cookout (yes, again!) at Rocky Bayou State Park. We were there for a couple of hours and we all had a blast. One of the best things about Florida is that it shouldn't start getting too cold until December, so we can have cookouts well into the fall.
What a great place to live!!

You guys are the BEST! What fun for Dylan to have a room all to himself for his trains. We totally understand not being able to do anything else because the floor is taken up by trains...that would be Jeron's room right now! Isn't it awesome that we have this outlet to record all of the FUN things we do with our kids...just so that they will know in the future what great parents we are!

I actually used to have a train thing like that. It had different pieces, yet was epic just the same.
