Go West!!

We had an awesome trip to Nevada and Utah this last week. We started in Nevada at Bruce and Rita's 40th wedding anniversary. It was a fun party with a lot of family and friends. (I will try to round up some pictures of the party and post them later.) Unfortunately, Rob had to fly home the next day so the kids and I were left to finish the trip. Here are some fun pictures of the week.

Maggie and Rob on the airplane.

Dylan playing with the buttons on the airplane. (The plane looks empty, but we were waiting for the rest of the passengers to board).

Heidi and Jeremiah were nice enough to let us stay at their house while in Nevada. They even took us to Lake Tahoe. It was my first visit to the Lake Tahoe area and I was amazed at how beautiful it was. It was a windy day, but we still had a great time!

Say cheese!

Dylan having a fun time. You can even see a bit of Davis in the corner.

In-N-Out Burger is always a must while in the Reno area!!

After Nevada we headed to Utah for the Beckstead Family Reunion. I was in Georgia during the reunion last year so I am so happy that I got to go this year. Cherry Hills is a great place for camping. It is comfortable camping! Indoor plumbing, grassy areas, swimming, miniature golf, etc. I have always enjoyed spending time with family and the family reunion is something I look forward to. Grandma and grandpa do a great job of getting the family together. I have truly learned the importance of family from grandma and grandpa's example.
For some reason I didn't take that many pictures. If you want to see more pictures look on some of the other family blogs.

Grandma is the best Bingo caller I know!

Kelly and Linda's family did a great job with the games.
(For more fun game pictures check out Dawn's blog)

Seth, Dave, Bonnie and mom getting the corn ready for Sunday dinner.
Sunday afternoon it started raining very hard! We stuck around to wait it out for awhile and finally moved to Jill and Rob's house. Many thanks to Jill and Rob for keeping us all dry, warm and happy!
And one last big thanks to Heather and Grandpa Heywood who made our trip possible!! It is not cheap to fly 4 people across the country and without them we would have missed all the fun!

Great photos! Tahoe is one of my favorite places..so perfect and beautiful. I can never get over how blue the water is..even compared to Bear Lake!
Your kids are beautiful..that Maggie smile is pretty great..and I could not help feeling proud hearing Dylan say the pledge!
