Our Week

This past week was good. We had Rob home early on a couple of days and he had the day off on Friday--it's always more fun when daddy is home.
We went back to River Street in Savannah and the tourist season is in full swing. There were a lot more people and a lot more to see and do.

The highlight of the day was watching the Coast Guard demonstrations. Sponge Bob was dropped into the water and the Coast Guard did a search and rescue with boats and a helicopter. Dylan loved it!!

Our garage has been a mess since we moved in and we decided it was time to work on it. Rob has a lot of tools and he needed some way to organize them so he built a work bench. He did a great job and our garage is almost ready to park a car!
(There are pictures in the slide show of all the fun the kids had while daddy was working.)

Here is the finished product--minus all the tools!
We have a great yard for flying kites-no trees and not a power line in sight!
Too bad we also didn't have much wind!

Robs commentary on the video is what I thought was funny. Too cute! Looks like you had a fun weekend!

Looks like a good time was had by all. Hopefully there will be some wind while Grandpa H is there so you all can try the kite flying again. Grandpa likes to fly kites!
