Grandpa, Projects and Best Friends

I have been terrible at keeping up with posts lately so you are getting another 3 posts in 1!

Grandpa Heywood came to visit us for a few days and we had a great time! Grandpa got to go play Army with Rob one day and we drove to Savannah and Tybee Island the next day. I only took a few pictures while he was here and most were of the kids. I did, however, get a picture of Maggie and Grandpa hangin' out on the couch!

For the last little while I have had big plans to make magnet boards for the kids rooms. When it came down to it I realized that I am not capable of doing this and talked Rob into putting his skills into action. He was very patient with me throughout the entire process and did a great job.

Lastly, I have been meaning to do a Best Friends post of the kids for a while and just keep forgetting. Dylan and Maggie are truly Best Friends! They spend almost every waking moment together and I usually find them together doing the same thing. They are usually pretty nice to each other and Dylan is a very patient older brother. The first thing Maggie does in the morning is call out for Dylan! I hope they will be Best Friends forever!
