Yet Another Update

We are officially settled in Georgia!! We found a nice house in a small town on the south west edge of Savannah. It is a bit of a drive for Rob to get on post, but we found that Hinesville (the closest town to Ft. Stewart) was a bit scary.

Today was our first time going to our new ward, but it turned out to be stake conference so we will have to see how it goes next week.

Rob is still in the process of getting settled on post. He has met the people he will work with and seems excited. He has training in Alabama next week and will be gone for 5 days. They have a lot of training exercises before they deploy and he will be gone a lot in the next 8 months. I guess it will prepare me for when he is gone for 12 months!!!

Dylan is getting a bit bored of being home. He is on the waiting list to get into the school district preschool, but it doesn't look like he will make it back to finish. I may end up putting him in a private preschool just to keep us all sane! I can register him for Kindergarten next week--it seems weird that my little boy will be in Kindergarten!

Maggie seems to slowly be settling down into life here. She had a hard time while the movers were at our house in Florida and she didn't like the mess when we first got here. I will take some pictures of her and get them posted later in the week. (We finally broke down and bought a new camera!)

Here is a cute video of Dylan. He has discovered games on the computer and plays nonstop! We are working on a plan to have him earn computer time!

(Pause the music before watching the video)

YAY! Now we need to plan a meet up. :-) If Dylan isn't in school you can come up here while Rob is in Alabama. Or anytime. We'll have to plan a trip down there...Oh I'm so excited that you live so close to me now!! Make sure you e-mail me your new address.

I can sympathize with Maggie, moving always makes of mess of your house and your emotions. It won't be long and everyone will be settled. Good Luck in Georgia!!
