The Past Few Weeks

It feels like it has been forever since I last posted anything! Not much was going on at the beginning of the month and we were lucky enough to have company for the last week of the month.
Grandma and Grandpa Beckstead came for a visit for a few days and we had a great time. Here are some of the things we did:

We went on a trolley tour around Savannah.

We went to River Street in Savannah

Grandma and Grandpa figuring out where we need to go.

We also went to Hilton Head Island in South Carolina to play in the ocean, but I didn't get any pictures.

The day after Grandma and Grandpa Beckstead left we had Grandpa Heywood and his fiancee, Patti, come visit.

We also went to River Street (I never get tired of that place)...

and the museum on Fort Stewart.
We drove up to Hilton Head to go to the beach, but once we got there a big storm was coming in and we decided against it. Instead we went swimming down the street in our complex pool and had a great time.

The kids got along great with Patti. We look forward to getting to know Patti more in the future.

Now that company is out of town I am sad to say that Rob has to go out of town for a month. About 5,000 soldiers here at Fort Stewart are heading away for the month for training before they deploy. Training is a good thing, but we don't like to see him go for so long.
