Dylan's Trains

If you were to ask Dylan what his favorite thing in the entire world is, he would say, "I LOVE TRAINS!!!"
I know that this is nothing new to most of you, but the kid sure does love trains! Always has and always will! This was the latest project. I don't normally let him get out two different train track sets at one time, but Maggie was napping and I was in the middle of a really good book. This project let me have about 2 hours of quiet time-it was totally worth it!
Anyway, this set up lasted for about 4 days. I wish I had a picture of the reaction when I told him it was time to clean-up. Let's just say that it involved a lot of tears. He was feeling very, "let down!" Those are his words! But he got over it and is now in the middle of a new project! I will let you know how it goes.

When you come to Nevada, you and Uncle Ron will have to go to Portola where you can run an engine...a real live engine. Uncle Ron really likes the diesels. What a wonderful layout. Uncle Ron is not happy to have his layout moved either. We have only done it once in 8 years. We will be doing it again soon and he is already feeling bad.

Dylan, maybe you could teach Jeron and Jadee how to build so neatly! I love that you can actually see the floor around the tracks and move in and out of the way! Great job! You're awesome!

P.S. Aunt Arva printed this picture out to take to Grandma at the hospital. Grandma misses you so much!
