Now that we are in Florida we are beginning to love it more and more everyday. We live near Okaloosa Bay. It is beautful and nice to have water near by. One evening we had a picnic on the beach and let the kids play in the water. We discovered that the beaches close to us are small and covered with natural debris. But we only have to drive about 20 minutes to reach some of the most beautiful beaches in the world! This is one reason we wanted the military experience--to see the world!
Dylan had no problem getting wet-even in his clothes!
Maggie was being very cautious and only getting her shoes wet. She lost her focus after a few minutes and fell in!

Maggie didn't look too broken up about falling in the water...was the picture deceiving? I must say that I am jealous of your beaches! You guys are very fun parents! Way to take advantage!
I'm determined to make it down to some Florida beaches before we leave here. If you find some good ones, let me know!
