Proud or Angry?

My cute little girl, Maggie, is growing-up too fast! The other day she was so proud of herself for writing this:
I was tempted to also be proud until I remembered that she wrote it on this:
Yep! The wall!
Should I be proud or angry?
(I took the pictures while she was eating dinner--I don't want her to think its okay.)

The new page layout is cute. I would be angry about drawing on the wall, but only because it is one of Sams favorite things to do. He is now getting to the point that he realizes I don't get as angry if he draws on Mae or himself. Still not ideal but easier to clean.

Be proud! You know she didn't do it maliciously. If you don't want her to do it again, explain that you are borrowing the house and that the owners do not want writing on the walls. Then, make her clean it off. Unless, of course, cleaning it off is fun for her...it always was for my kids ;) Then talk to Grandpa about how easy it is to touch up everything but green marker and be glad it's not that :)
